The National Health Service Core (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program is open to licensed primary care medical, dental, and mental and behavioral health providers who are employed by accredited sites.

Title Pay Range:
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education and experience as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Salary: $24.70 – $31.00 DOE

LPN Summary: Are you a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a real impact in the mental health field? Join our compassionate Adult Intensive Services team at Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH), where you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to clients with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care & Support: Collaborate with psychiatric providers and clinical therapists to deliver exceptional care, including assessing and documenting vital signs, medication responses, and side effects.
- Client Education: Educate patients and their families on medications and care plans, ensuring they fully understand treatments.
- Coordination & Communication: Serve as a key liaison between providers, clients, community partners, and medical specialists to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Clinical Support: Manage medication samples, maintain records, and provide basic nursing care for minor illnesses or injuries, supporting other KBBH programs as needed.
- Case Management: Coordinate with primary care providers, hospitals, rehabilitation programs, and other services to support clients in achieving the best health outcomes.
What Success Looks Like:
- You’ll provide high-quality clinical support to psychiatric providers and clients, ensuring clear communication and smooth coordination of care.
- You’ll educate and empower clients and their families by explaining medication and treatment plans clearly and compassionately.
- You’ll take initiative in collaborating with other healthcare providers to improve client outcomes and maintain a seamless care experience.
- You’ll handle administrative tasks efficiently, from scheduling to documentation, ensuring organized and effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in the state of Oregon.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and proof of insurance (required for any job-related transportation).
