Job Description
The service coordinator will support the Service department in the whole cycle of customer repair orders (order creation, sourcing of repair parts, on time delivery). The service coordinator will support the customer with concerns and inquiries for service repair / warranty as well as proactively communicate with other team members regarding priority and workload. Other job duties include:
- Create, maintain, and continually improve positive long-term relationships with customers
- Issue RGA numbers (return goods authorization)
- Calculate pricing for quotations according to defined standards and escalate according to established guidelines
- Determine material availability and lead time according to established practices
- Create quotations and ship products for order repair
- Execute, track, and proactively manage repair / warranty-requested orders according to department standards
- Independently review department dashboard to identify and resolve issues related to stagnated orders, and follow up with customers regarding open quotations and RGA's; escalating when needed
- Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice
- Perform other essential and peripheral duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex. PA Dept of Education, FL Dept of Education, US Military).
- 3 plus years customer facing work experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working within an ERP system (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office software
- Willingness to participate in our Continuous Improvement Culture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work independently demonstrating strong organizational skills including excellent priority management
- Demonstrated ability to take direction and work within process standards
