Kelly Government Solutions is seeking an individual to work as a Grants Compliance and Policy Manager at the National Institutes of Health in Rockville, MD. Position estimated to support hybrid work arrangement that involves on-site work (1 day/week) at the NIH in Rockville, MD.

KEY TASKS
(1) Support the grants management policy and compliance aspects of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) extramural research portfolio, which includes assisting with the coordination of the administrative aspects of pre and post award management, developing templates and tools to ensure consistency, tracking and monitoring of compliance with post-award reporting submissions, and assisting with creation of training tools and resources.
(2) Work with staff on the review, evaluation and refinement of funding opportunity announcements in relation to NIH grants policy.
(3) Work with staff to review and make decisions on post-award report submissions.
(4) Work with staff on the development and coordination of implementation of new NIH grant policies and impact on scientific programs.
(5) Work with staff to develop and disseminate templates, tools and standard operating procedures in pre and post-award monitoring of federal grants.
(6) Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of Institute funded extramural research programs.
(7) Collaborate with staff on the planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of programs, projects, and initiatives
(8) Evaluate program activities to identify issues and develop recommendations for improvement.
(9) Provide advice and consultation to the staff about policy, programs, communications and strategic alliance issues.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
(1) Minimum of master’s degree in a scientific, policy, or relevant discipline
(2) Knowledge of NIH or federal grants and funding mechanisms including funding opportunity announcements
(3) Experience with overall project management including tracking milestones, drafting reports and summaries, developing templates, and data analysis
