We have an immediate need for an experienced Product Manager to join one of our early stage investments. This company focuses on enhancing the digital shopping experience for brands by creating personalized, high-converting shopping journeys. They provide customized shopping experiences, making it easier for brands to create multiple version of online stores, experiment with them, and analyze performance.
Reporting to their Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in driving the direction of their e-commerce platform.
This is an hybrid role, for either SF Bay Area or New York.
Responsibilities:
- Drive customer discovery through customer calls, user research, and usability studies to gather insights that inform product decisions and improvements.
- Prioritize and define product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop detailed product requirements and ensure timely and effective feature delivery.
- Track and report on the progress of product development projects, including identifying any risks or blockers and working with the team to resolve them.
- Help manage the product backlog and assist in planning sprints and release cycles.
- Contribute to the creation of tasks, acceptance criteria, and ensure that the final product meets customer needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in e-commerce or/and SaaS
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using customer insights and data to drive decision-making.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and leading product initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
