Job Title: Lead Design Engineer
The Advanced Design Engineer will be involved in various project teams with responsibilities ranging from conceptual development to reverse engineering and optimizing cost and quality of current products. The designs will span across the entire portfolio. Occasionally, the Advanced Design Engineer may also take on project management duties.
Lead Design Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience
- Proficiency in Creo-Pro/Engineer and/or Solidworks, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in New Product Development within the Automotive industry
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Lead Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and modify components and systems to meet technical requirements using sound engineering practices.
- Solve complex problems related to product design, manufacturing, and service applications.
- Guide technical support staff in executing specific design tasks.
- Analyze and report findings on competitive product designs.
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers regarding technical specifications, design, and performance.
- Implement defect prevention methods in product design.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential use in future products.
Salary: 90,000-100,000 + Bonus
