Insight Global is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Creative Director with a strong background in art direction to join our internal marketing team in a hybrid role, with the expectation to be in the office 4 days a week. The Associate Creative Director will lead and execute high-impact advertising, digital campaigns, sales enablement initiatives, and more, with a particular focus on visual design and art direction. This role requires a strategic thinker with a creative vision who can manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team, with direct reports from the art direction team, while also providing creative oversight across copywriting, video production, and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of creative concepts across various channels, with a strong emphasis on visual design for advertising, digital campaigns, social media, and sales enablement materials.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, advertising, and sales teams to align creative strategies with overall brand objectives and business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of art directors, including associate, mid, and senior art directors, ensuring high-quality visual output while also providing creative oversight to copywriters, video production staff, and other creatives involved in projects.
- Oversee all stages of the visual design process, from initial concept to final execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Review and approve all creative deliverables, with a particular focus on visual consistency, brand standards, and overall aesthetic quality across all media.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and competitor activities to keep the brand at the forefront of creative innovation, especially in visual design and art direction.
- Present creative concepts and campaign strategies to senior leadership, articulating the creative vision and rationale.
- Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed to supplement resources and expertise.
- Ensure that all creative work reflects a deep understanding of the target audience, effectively communicating the brand's value propositions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in a creative role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial position focused on art direction.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing multi-channel campaigns with a strong emphasis on visual design, from concept to completion.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in art direction, advertising, digital campaigns, and sales enablement.
- Experience managing and mentoring creative teams, particularly in art direction, with the ability to provide cross-disciplinary creative oversight.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design-specific creative concepts and strategies to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple design and integrated projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma), along with a solid understanding of digital marketing processes.
- Flexibility to work in the office 4 days a week.
