Instructional Designer
Contract through the end of 2024 (~3 Months, with possibility of extension)

Job Summary:
Our client is a health insurance provider located on the West Coast, and is in the early stages of enhancing their organization training programs, content, and courses. They’re looking to bring on an Instructional Designer to work closely with various departments to build out engaging training materials and eLearning content. This individual will need to have experience creating interactive training material using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and SharePoint. This person will be responsible for following instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM when creating learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Create interactive eLearning content using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
- Follow best practices for instructional design principles and approaches.
- Use Workday Learning for Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and SMEs to build out training content and insert into the Workday platform.
- Utilize design models, including ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping, to create effective learning experiences.
- Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information to design appropriate content that aligns with the organization goals.
- Support change management as needed during adoption of new learning initiatives.
- Analyze current training programs and design learning interventions that improve identified needs.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer
- Experience using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SharePoint, and other eLearning tools.
- Experience with an LMS (Workday Learning preferred)
- Familiarity with instructional design models, including ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping.
