COTA/PTA/ST/PT/OTR Therapists Wanted For In Person in all 5 Boroughs!
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and support. The Therapist will work in various settings, including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments.
Duties:
- Assist Therapists with patient evaluations and treatment plans.
- Implement and perform therapy interventions.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet patients' unique needs.
- Provide patient education and instruction on self-care techniques and exercises.
- Assist with the development and implementation of ADLs and assistive technology.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in Therapist Studies and a current license to practice in the state where the position is located.
- Previous experience working in a clinic, skilled nursing facility, or home health environment is highly desirable.
- Experience working with geriatric patients and those with acute care needs is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for this role.
- Experience with care plans and the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans is necessary.
- The Therapist must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient care and a willingness to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
