Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst
REPORTS TO: Finance & Operations Controller
DEPARTMENT: Finance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Analyze and report on current financial status
§ Prepare and present cost projections, ad-hoc and cost/benefit analysis as needed, including customer specific pricing
§ Identifying ongoing productivity opportunities to reduce overall manufacturing costs
§ Provide support to accountant for A/P and JE approvals
§ Provide support to accountant for A/P payment runs, including bank disbursal approvals
§ Various reporting and analysis
§ Prepare and participate in annual budgeting process (for departments and projects)
§ Coordinate with the Controller and the executive team on long-term financial planning including the development of five year
Strategic Plans
§ Developing financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
§ Support and document business processes and financial policies
§ Maintain confidentiality of financial information
§ Other duties as necessary
§ Analyzing and updating standard costs using SAP - provide support to accountant
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Previous analytical experience including forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation
§ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
§ 5+ years of overall combined accounting, finance and analysis experience
§ Must have ERP experience, SAP preferred
§ Excellent analytical skills
§ Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
§ Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
§ Expertise in MS Excel including advanced functions
§ CPA or CMA preferred
§ Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
