This role is onsite near Phoenix, AZ with a hybrid schedule. Due to the nature of the project all applicants must be US Citizens.
EXB Solutions (a Quest Global company) is hiring an Engineer as a DOORS- NG Specialist to join our team who can work well with remote teams and individuals in support of DOORS-NG usage. As our Engineering Specialist you will be responsible for designing and developing DXL scripts for Rational Publishing Engine (RPE) operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Review RPE/DOORS NG work and come up to speed on current info and schedule
- Modify and create scripts as needed to provide working RPE operation
- Take the time to become familiar with the product and current processes
- Create material for presentations and one-on-ones on the new use of the RPE/DOORS NG tools
- Coordinate inter- and intra-team meetings and discussions as needed
- Lead DOORs NG script development, development of DOORS NG documentation templates, training and maintenance material
- Initiate, develop and review how-to documentation to support new team members and eliminate need for tribal knowledge
- Provide weekly status reports
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-5 years’ experience in DOORS and DOORS NG as administrator who is familiar with writing DXL scripts
- Strong experience in leadership and working with multiple teams
- Ability to work with local and remote groups
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a highly iterative environment (with DevOps/Agile experience and mindset).
- Experience in time management, efficient use of DXL and understanding less is more
- Experience with Jira and Agile
- Domain knowledge in Engines, Engine Controls is a plus
- Knowing how to write hardware/software requirements is not required but also a plus
