Our company is looking for a Sales Service Representative to join our Inside Sales Team. This is an exciting, dynamic and essential role in our company's success! We are very passionate about making our customers feel welcome and satisfied. In this role, you will be responsible for making sure that every one of our users has an awesome experience when interacting with our products and us. This position primarily involves providing product information, entering orders and ensuring the customers stay informed about their order status from placement of order through delivery.
You will be the primary point of contact for people that have general and sales questions. You will be responsible for ensuring customers receive their orders on time.
Responsibilities:
- Verify customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
- Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and work with customer on any order corrections required.
- Inform customers by email or telephone of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays.
- Obtain customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms.
- Recommend merchandise or services that will meet customers' needs.
- Inspect outgoing work for compliance with customers' specifications.
- Check inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise.
- File copies of orders received, or post orders on records.
- Notify departments when supplies of specific items are low, or when orders would deplete available supplies.
- Prepare order quotes, acknowledgement, shipping documents, and contracts.
- Confer with production, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
- Compute total charges for merchandise or services and shipping charges.
- Direct specified departments or units to prepare and ship orders to designated locations.
- Just be awesome and flexible.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years working in an Order Entry / Customer Service role.
- A love for helping customers and delivering satisfaction.
- Not afraid of taking an unhappy customer and turning them into a happy one.
- Previous experience working with Salesforce desired.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communications skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm with accuracy.
- Able to work independently or in a team.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or by other means to individuals and groups.
- Strong team player possessing the willingness to seek feedback, adopt practices and continuously learn and evolve.
- Ability to learn new products, concept, and eagerness to explore new technology.
