A prestigious law firm with offices throughout Southern California has an immediate opening for a Litigation Secretary with 4+ years of litigation experience for its downtown San Diego office. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity for a talented and motivated legal secretary.
Position: Litigation Secretary
Location: Downtown San Diego
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with Federal, State, and Appellate filings (both manual and e-filings)
- Manage calendaring, proofreading, trial preparation, and document processing
- Perform various administrative duties to ensure smooth operation
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in Net Docs, Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook (training for NetDocs provided if needed)
- Strong civil litigation experience, with mastery of court e-filings (Federal, State, CA, and Appellate Courts)
- Experience in formatting TOC/TOA
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong client service skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, multi-task, and set priorities while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in handling litigation calendars (Compulaw)
