We are looking for a full time, direct hire Electrical Maintenance Mechanic in Milesburg, PA to proactively maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
This is a daylight, 12 hour, 2-2-3 schedule
You will :
> Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by
completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors,
pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following
diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and
engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
>Use Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems within the manufacturing environment.
>Locate sources of problems by observing electrical/mechanical devices in
operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
>Have experience with electrical up to 480 volts
> Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and
hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
>Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting
used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring
instruments.
>Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand
tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
>Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders with internal and external sources; verifying receipt.
You will have:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
2-5 years’ Experience in Equipment Maintenance
• 2 + years experience with PLC systems, or equivalent training
• Technical understanding, zeal and ability to deal with uncertainty
• Basic understanding of Safety procedures
• Experience with Power Tools
