We have immediate openings for an Manager/QMHP-CS dedicated to making a meaningful difference for our clients.
Fulltime Monday to Friday
Here are a few job duties to expect as a Manager:
- Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the facility.
- Must be on duty 40 hours per week and must be available by telephone after hours and on weekends.
- On - Call
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of all staff members
- Must complete at least 16 units of psychosocial programming each day. The range of topics are to include, but not limited to: problem-solving, communication skills, anger management, community re-integration skills, as well as co-occurring psychiatric and substance use diagnosis issues.
- Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures to include employee handbook.
- Complete monthly administrative training as well as monthly training for staff members.
- Responsible for assuring that all state standards and facility procedures are implemented, followed and updated as required.
- Have ability to multitask and be able to provide exceptional customer service in a busy working environment.
- Good time management, organization, attention to detail, and computer proficiency are integral.
- Ability to respond with individuals and staff with patience, empathy, and understanding.
- Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Scheduling staff shifts and contacting HR with any staffing concerns.
- Working hand in hand with the Behavioral Health Authority on all issues and concerns of the residents.
- Immediately report all abuse, neglect or exploitation and medication errors to The Wood Group's Client Rights Officer.
- Performs related work as assigned by Corporate Officers.

Requirements:
Experience working with Mental Health/IDD Clients requiredExperience working with Mental Health/IDD Clients required- Bachelor Degree in Social Sciences (Phycology or Sociology) is required.
- Experience working with Mental Health/IDD Clients required
- A valid Texas Driver's license
