One of the world’s leading law firms that serves clients with market-leading practices in private equity, M&A and other complex corporate transactions is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support their law school recruiting team. They will be responsible for assisting the overall administration of the attorney recruiting process including on-campus recruiting, direct applications and campus engagement, as well as maintenance of recruiting databases, statistics and general office duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the On Campus Interview Recruiting process
- Update and maintain applicant tracking database
- Prepare shipments for On Campus Interviews
- Create OneNote binders for interviewers
- Maintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes
- Assist with in-office interviews and follow-up events
- Scan documents and save to Document Management System and ViDesktop
- Assist in preparation of attorney reviews
- Monitor assignment database
- Upload photos to and maintain online summer photo account
- Create event invitations and track RSVPs
- Make conference room reservations and catering orders
- Assist with planning of recruiting events
- Create nametags for events
- Track candidates from recruiting events
- Prepare and distribute department materials
- Assist in meeting support
- Accurate and timely entry of departmental data into various databases
- Maintain files
- Prepare check requests
- Maintain departmental calendars
- Provide event support
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of work experience
- Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships among lawyers and staff to achieve results; position requires a high level of collaboration with attorneys and staff and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and using the Internet is required
