We are seeking a Senior Electronic Engineer to assist in the development, manufacturing, test, and delivery of hardware components for our positioning system. You will be responsible for the digital, analog, RF and power circuits, test measurements, micro-controllers, low current operation, batteries, mechanical design and assembly, manufacturing, field testing, PCB layout, schematic capture, sustaining engineering, and more. Your work will require collaboration across our team (including contractors) – being involved with all aspects of taking a product from concept to field deployment and fulfilling our customer requirements – and dreams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bring up new designs, test PCBAs, program micro-controllers, and develop and operate ATE systems.
- Review designs, assist with board bring up, assemble, and test devices and systems.
- Analyze and understand full system requirements.
- Specify and select components, enclosures, antennas, cables, and other hardware in coordination with other team members and vendors.
- Certifications, DVT, environmental, and HALT.
- Collect test data and write comprehensive, understandable reports.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
