CSP's HR Recruiting Practice has partnered with a manufacturing company in Annapolis Junction, MD in their search for an HR Generalist. This individual needs to have strong payroll experience (preferably ADP WFN) and at least 3-5 years of experience. This position requires this candidate to be on-site five days a week in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Process required documents through payroll and benefit providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
- Manage employee benefits programs and ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintains human resource information system records, insuring integrity and confidentiality. Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes in the HRIS system in a timely fashion.
- Work to ensure employee understanding of benefits programs, pay, leave, and company policy by regularly generating communication and counseling employees as situations arise.
- Assist with recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, under the direction of management.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with payroll administration and payroll systems.
