They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to oversee the electrical scope of a flagship hyperscale data center project in Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical systems within large-scale construction environments and demonstrate a proven ability to lead projects effectively.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Project Leadership:** Lead the electrical scope of the hyperscale data center project, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- **Coordination:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into the overall construction plan.
- **Technical Oversight:** Provide technical expertise in electrical design, installation, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Planning and Execution:** Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet project milestones and objectives.
- **Quality Assurance:** Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that electrical work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards.
- **Problem Solving:** Identify and address potential issues and risks proactively, implementing corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
- **Client Engagement:** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding electrical project matters, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- **Reporting:** Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and documentation to management and stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement:** Advocate for and implement best practices and innovative solutions in electrical construction and project management.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in data center or large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
