Summary:

- Pay Range: $60,000/year to $70,000/year.
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.)
Compensation structure is competitive base salary (+) full benefits package w/ 401k.
Position summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Legal department. The paralegal will assist with a wide range of tasks regarding document management. These tasks include, but are not limited to, record-keeping, project tracking, correspondence generation, document compilation and submission and file maintenance.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate, as well as possessing impeccable communication skills, a strong attention to organization and details and proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as knowledge, or willingness and ability to learn quickly on the job, of other programs commonly used in a business setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain records and files electronically and physically for subcontractors and clients
- Prepare and edit documents and agreements per instructions
- Oversee Secretary of State registrations and annual reports for multiple entities in multiple jurisdictions
- Handle, update and coordinate minority-owned business certifications for multiple entities in multiple jurisdictions
- Collate and track documents and projects related to immigration
- Prepare employment verification and visa letters for subcontractors
- Respond to inquiries, subpoenas or other requests for records
- Request, store and keep track of Certificate of Insurance records
- Establish and maintain a password-tracking system
- Formatting and coordinating signatures on contracts or legal documents
- Preparing correspondence and filing documents
- Assisting with onboarding and other matters relating to subcontractors and assisting with contract management
- Tracking deadlines and coordinating completion of department projects
- Ensuring that work follows legal requirements, best practices and internal policies and procedures
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and other departmental meetings as needed
- Perform various other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training or an associate degree in paralegal studies
- 3+ years of paralegal experience
