Position Summary:
The Network Technician is a hands-on professional who can execute the future growth and expansion of our computer network. The Network Technician will be responsible for maintaining current systems and keeping IT support partners updated on the latest tools and processes. The ideal candidate is experienced with Cisco Meraki and Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, and is well-versed in Windows-based desktop and server operating systems, patching and security. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience at the enterprise networking level, and also work well with legacy systems.
Primary Functions:
Support, monitor and maintain new server hardware and software infrastructure
Serve as technical support, handling escalated issues requiring in-depth technical knowledge and expertise.
Build internal network administration capability with partner
Assist with M365 migration to single tenant
Manage social cyber awareness and campaigns
Assist with installation of MDR solution
Assist with privilege access management
Provision users and run point on hardware rollouts
Manage email and advanced threat protection in a Microsoft 365 environment
Work with Network Security Partner to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex system problems
Build workstations and deploy to new users or upgrade existing users’ hardware
Monitor and support existing Cisco Meraki hardware
Engage with internal customers directly to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction

Primary Competencies (Required):
System backup and restore experience and best practices including SQL Server
VMWare or Hyper-V management and administration experience
TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SFTP, SSH, SMTP, etc
VLAN’s, Routing and Configuration
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Ability to travel and manage multiple infrastructure environments
Adherence to Policies and Procedures
Azure tenant and security administration or knowledge
Microsoft 365 experience
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good cross-functional communication and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
Effective time management and organizational skills
Preferred Competencies:
Cisco CCNA experience
MCSA experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
Four or more years of experience with Cisco Meraki and M365 required
Experience with enterprise level network administration and troubleshooting preferred
Ability to work extra hours when needed
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job such as:
Traveling by air and car – valid drivers license required
Safely navigating a manufacturing environment
Extended periods of sitting and extensive use of computer and office equipment
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
