Biomarker Operations Associate
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $72,800 - $83,200 per year
Location: Hayward, CA - Onsite Role
Job Summary:
As a Biomarker Operations Associate, the ideal candidate should have experience in clinical sample collection and logistics and will work independently and collaboratively with members of the Translational Science team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with arranging for receipt and shipment of clinical samples internally and with the CROs
- Help maintain records in the clinical sample inventory database
- Relay sample collection problems on a routine basis to Biomarker Operations
- Assist in the disposition of clinical samples and with appropriate documentation
- Track and monitor in-bound and out-bound shipments
- Perform additional tasks assigned as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- BS degree or equivalent in life sciences
- 1+ year(s) of work experience in an industry or clinical setting
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an aptitude and enthusiasm for collaboration and maintaining the integrity of our complex clinical trial sample collections and records
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with a solutions-based approach, flexibility, and the ability to focus and deliver on time-sensitive objectives.
- A willingness to learn, execute on given directions, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Handling and processing clinical and biological samples and experience with databases and LIMS is a plus.
- Knowledge of SOPs and working instructions is preferred.
