- Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
- Interprets electrical drawings.
- Calibrates and performs adjustments in electronic instruments and industrial PLCs.
- Performs programming and adjustments in variable speed drive controls.
- Intervenes in PLC malfunctioning, spotting software or hardware failures.
- Intervenes in sensors control loops and in variable speed drives.
- Verifies and ensures the availability of resources and spare parts needed for the execution of programmed tasks.
- Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications
- Carries out repairs and improvements on large electrical engines, low and mid voltage panels and protection systems.
- Inspects, diagnoses and performs advanced electric and electronic repairs, replacements and upgrades.
- Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
- Cooperates with the Base Maintenance Group in preventive activities.
- Interacts with other areas.
- Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
- Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
