Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of technology and business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of systems to drive our organization’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify system improvements.
- Support the implementation of new systems and enhance existing technologies.
- Develop and document system processes, procedures, and data flows.
- Design, execute, and document test cases for system enhancements.
- Utilize SQL and reporting tools to provide insights and support decision-making.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst in a technology environment, utilizing software design methodologies and processes.
- At least three years of experience with system analysis, including principles, methods, tools, and practices.
Preferred Experience:
- Five years of experience in supporting web technologies; or in supporting Finance, Legal, or Human Resources systems; or in supporting Salesforce and Business Intelligence platforms.
- Three years of experience with SQL queries and SQL Reporting Services.
- Experience in testing, documenting test cases, and data mapping (minimum of three years).
- Three years of experience in project management.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education, training, certification, and experience.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business systems, computing, metrics, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and project management best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and reporting tools.
