Role: Junior ETL Tester (Snowflake, Azure, ETL Testing, SQL)
Work Experience: 8 Years
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Work Location: Houston, TX (Day 1 Onsite) – Only locals
- Should have team-handling skills with the Onsite & Offshore model
- Review requirements and prepare the Test Plan
- Develop and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ETL process
- Verify data mappings, transformations, and data loading processes to ensure they meet business requirements
- Should have various types of ETL testing experiences include Metadata Testing, Data Completeness Testing, Data Accuracy Testing, Data Transformation Testing, Data Quality Testing, Initial/Incremental load testing
- Validates data by running queries in the database and verifying that the results match the expectations
- Perform data reconciliations between source and target systems
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts, including star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, and facts
- Collaborate with data architects and development team / engineers to design and implement efficient data structures to ensure the quality of testing by providing data validation expertise
