Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure Waterproofing and Air and Vapor barrier product specifications with Architects, Consultants, and Specifiers in support of the BEW Representatives.
- Work with the BEW Representatives to aid in substitution requests. Due to the lack of specifications, a multi-prong approach is necessary to target key specifiers through the contractors and the architectural representative. This includes work with our ISA’s.
- Assist the Sales Representatives in support of key contractors involved with major specified projects in target markets.
- Utilize Construct Connect, research and identify projects where BEW&DC has no specification presence.
- Coordinate with the local BEW Representatives to formulate plans to secure master specifications at a national level.
- Build and control content of AIA presentations with the BEW&DC team to coverall subjects.
- Offer national webinars on air barriers, deck coatings, plaza deck waterproofing and blindside/foundation walls bi-weekly.
- Develop the guide specs with the Technical Coordinator – Building Envelope Waterproofing to follow appropriate CSI formatting then customize for national architectural firms.
- Work with MasterSpec to get the most out of their service.
- Participate in regional and national Architectural tradeshows and develop opportunities to speak publicly at these events.

- Establish national architectural relationships through organizations such as Association of Architecture Organization (AAO) for building envelope which includes the roof.
- Develop relationship with specifying firms that have a national presence such as Gensler, Perkins Will, HDR, Jacobs, SOM, WJE, HOK, ABB, SGH.
- Establish relationships with engineering consultants that drive the restoration parking garage market on a national level such as Walk Consultants, Carol Walker, THP, WJE and Desman.
- Build working relationships through the National Parking Association.
- Represent SOPREMA BEWDC in various Design Focused Associations
- Coordinate and Collaborate with Specified Sales Architectural Team.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, construction management, engineering, science, business, marketing, or other relevant discipline.
- 5 years of experience calling on architects, engineers, or consultants in the construction industry
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via telephone, in person, video calls, and in writing.
Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Occasional travel by airplane and long car rides will be required.
- Standing at Tradeshows for extended periods of time will be required.
- Speaking to large groups will be required.
