Opportunity
We are looking for an entry-to mid-level territory sales representative in Indianapolis, Colorado area covering the CO/WY/UT/ID area who would want to join our growing organization. The position has a base pay depending on experience with huge commission earning potential driven by growth.
A Day in the Life of a Territory Sales Representative:
- Connecting with customers, potential customers, contractors, builders and architects to develop strong relationships and drive business through our distribution partners.
- Collecting, reviewing and sharing competitor products with the team to identify gaps in product line for the designated market.
- Share product knowledge across all our categories to create loyal contractors and builders in roofing, siding and gutter categories.
- Be the point of contact for customer in your territory responding to questions, request and sharing research, insights and product knowledge.
- Bring passion and excitement about our solutions to customers in order to help them achieve success in their business.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Strategy & Growth
- Use the sales process to drive new products and customers through distribution.
- Take ownership over your territory with creative ideas for sales and marketing.
- Set distributor conversion targets and focus on removing competitive product from branches.
Building Relationships
- Organized and ability to follow up with customer requests.
- Available to customer through multiple contacts to grow relationships.
- Desire to create great customer experiences with every touch point.
- Create relationships with all levels of contractors and builders in roofing, siding and gutter.
- Create relationships with branch and regional leaders of distribution customer locations.
Product Expertise
- Provide ongoing customer training and support with current and new products and tools.
- Learn and use the selling features of all the products.
Voice of the customer
- Share with the organization customer product development opportunities.
- Submit price deviation requests and credit requests on behalf of customers.
- Utilize Salesforce to document customer contacts, interactions and opportunities.

Experience we’re looking for:
- Associated or bachelor’s degree – business, marketing, sales, or entrepreneurship.
- 2-5 years business to business sales or in-home selling.
- If you have experience in the building products category – that’s a plus.
- Excellent communication, listening and presentation skills with the ability to channel customers communication into helpful actions and sales.
