GMS, one of the country’s leading PEOs, is looking for an ambitious and driven individual to be our newest Training and Development Coordinator.
First what does a Training and Development Coordinator do?
- Assist with road mapping annual training plans for the Sales division
- Design and develop training programs using authoring tools
- Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
- Market available training to employees and providing necessary information about sessions
- Help to conduct an organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Use known education principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques
- Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
- Help to maintain and update the training curriculum within Cornerstone (LMS)
- Manage and maintain in house training facilities and equipment
- Research and recommend new training methods
- Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications for this role:
- Experience - 1-2 years related experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education required
- Education - Bachelor's degree preferred preferred or an equivalent combination of experience required
- Other - Previous experience as a training specialist or educator is strongly preferred
