Trillium Construction is now hiring for a commercial Roofing Superintendent in Sparks, NV!
Our client specializes in commercial roofing and waterproofing in both California and Nevada. They have grown tremendously over the last year and are continuing that pattern. They are now hiring a Superintendent in the Sparks / Reno area who has experience with metal buildings / roofing. This is a direct hire role paying up to $120k plus benefits like M/V/D, 401k, PTO, company vehicle and gas card and more!
Duties:
-Responsible for the effective management and leadership of personnel including overseeing performance management and evaluation of all department staff, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, career development, mentoring, recruiting, and handling employment separations.
-Develop departmental training materials, coordinate training, and identify future training needs for higher profitability through system changes, and continuous improvement processes.
-Oversee the installation and repair of commercial roofing systems (e.g., waterproofing, TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, tile, shingles).
-Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure timely and efficient project execution
-Ensure that projects comply with specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
-Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, job site conditions, and crew attendance

Qualifications:
-5 years of commercial roofing experience (in-depth knowledge of roofing systems and installation techniques) with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
-Reliable to meet schedules, deadlines, and productivity standards; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate people with an alternate plan; ability to prioritize work load, attain needed resources, and execute a plan that optimizes results
-Proficient knowledge of working with word processing documents, creating, and managing spreadsheets, using databases, internet navigation, email communications, presentation/slideshows, enterprise systems, and industry-related software
