Job Summary
The Marketing/Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the shaping and executing the Firm's marketing/communication strategies to drive growth, enhance brand recognition, and attract new clients. This individual will be supporting the Firm's marketing and communication efforts, from development to execution and analysis. The Marketing Manager will lead the communications, public relations team and work closely with the other departments within marketing, ensuring cohesive and effective campaigns across branding, creative, public relations, digital and traditional platforms. They will collaborate closely with attorneys, and other staff to understand the Firm's unique value propositions and translate these into compelling marketing messages.
Role and Responsibilities
Marketing/Communication Development and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive marketing and communication plans aligned with the firm's strategic goals.
- Execute traditional marketing and communication/PR campaigns and incorporate the digital plans to increase visibility and client acquisition.
Team Leadership:
- Work closely with all areas of the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Assist in regular team meetings and performance reviews as appropriate to ensure alignment and growth.
Content and Brand Management:
- Oversee content creation for all marketing channels, ensuring accuracy and engagement.
- Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all marketing efforts.
Client Engagement and Outreach:
- Develop programs to engage clients, encouraging referrals and enhancing satisfaction.
- Implement outreach initiatives to build strong client relationships.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using various metrics and tools.
- Prepare detailed reports on marketing activities, outcomes, and return on investment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Works closely with legal staff to understand and promote the Firm’s services
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to enhance marketing efforts.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure all marketing activities adhere to legal industry ethics and compliance standards.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting marketing practices.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Communication/PR, marketing experience, preferably within the legal or professional services sector.
- Proven experience in managing a marketing team or department.
- Strong writing and PR skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and performance tracking software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative and strategic thinking abilities.
- Understanding of legal marketing ethics and compliance.
Physical Requirements
Able to sit for extended periods, engaging in computer-based tasks while utilizing hands and fingers for typing and operating office equipment. Clear vision and hearing are essential for effective communication, and occasional lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 15 pounds may be necessary. Mobility within the office environment, including movement between workstations and meeting rooms, as well as occasional bending, stooping, and reaching to access files or supplies, are expected. The ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels and occasional distractions is also required.
