We are seeking a passionate and goal-driven Business Development Professional to join our team. This role will focus on expanding our Federal and Military presence in the decontamination and CBRN response markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Must have the desire to seek new business and grow market share. Identify, develop, and nurture existing business within the decontamination and CBRN response sectors, with a focus on expanding market share and driving revenue growth.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage a robust business and sales pipeline, where success is measured by meeting revenue goals, achieving milestones, and expanding market reach.
- Federal and Military Procurement: Understand and navigate the federal procurement process and longer program development cycles, particularly with military and government clients.
- Customer Management: Seek and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service and that they are fully supported in their missions.
- Post-Sale Support: Provide ongoing customer support to ensure the successful implementation and utilization of our products and services, addressing any concerns or challenges that arise.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales manager, internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure a seamless customer experience and to identify new growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in sales and business development (at least 5 years), with a strong understanding of the federal procurement process and military program development.
- Experience in managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through to close, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in managing distributor relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and work collaboratively with diverse personalities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel (up to 75% of time) as needed to meet with clients and partners.
