What you will be doing:
- Assess and define clients’ media strategy to ensure that all media plans are aligned with marketing objectives and client’s KPI's.
- Research market trends, develop strategy and create media plans.
- Oversee the implementation and execution of media campaigns to ensure proper reporting on client KPIs.
- Approves & provides optimization recommendations for campaigns, ensuring flexibility and adapting to the changing needs of the marketplace.
- Recommend best practices in agency processes, efficiencies, including optimizing infrastructure, and quality assurance.
- Develop formal presentations on strategic recommendations, media plans and ROI reports.
- Play an active role in new business pitches and proposals, developing innovative and convincing media strategies that produce results.
- Potential travel to meetings and present recommendations/plans to prospect, new and existing clients as needed.
- Work with accounting to provide/adjust budgets, approvals of vendor invoice and reconciliation of media accounts.
- Keep the leadership team updated on industry news, trends and vendor partnerships.
- Solicit, organize and attend vendor meetings.
- Develop strategic partnerships with publishers, networks, and advertisement technology vendors.
- Manage the analysis and responsible for core negotiations with vendors for the best possible rate.
- Maintain vendor contact records and contracts.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
What we need from you:
- Extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry. CHDM / CRME Certification preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of the platforms: Google (Search, Display, Discovery, YouTube), Microsoft(Bing), Facebook, LinkedIn, Expedia (Travel Ads and Display), TripAdvisor (Sponsored Placement and Display), Meta Search (DS Click Platform), Yelp, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Extensive knowledge of the role, strengths and weaknesses of traditional and digital media channels such as: Traditional: TV (including Broadcast, Spot Cable, Connected TV), print, radio, out-of-home, etc. Digital: Display including programmatic, native, online video, etc.
- Extensive knowledge on researching, planning, selling, and presenting efficient media budgets that align with client objectives and goals. (i.e. minimums, budgeting formulas, best practices)
- Confidence in your analytical ability to research and investigate performance issues and make efficient decisions.
- Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics. Able to read and analyze data and e-commerce performance to make data-driven decisions.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) with experience presenting to clients and leadership.
