General PurposeUnder general supervision, manages moderately complex projects/assignments with a considerable corporate and/or business unit impact. Provides analysis and feasibility studies, establishes project goals, negotiates timelines/schedules, and develops project plans.
Responsibilities of this position include the following: - Manage moderately complex projects, research, track, and report on initiatives.
- Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance to the PacifiCorp Project Goverance and Standards.
- Analyze, recommend and/or implement technical, procedure and process enhancements.
- Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes. Manage client expectations.
- Analyze and evaluate skills to define critical tasks.
- Monitor and maintain project budgets.
- Evaluate and establish project goals, develop project plans, negotiate timelines and schedules and monitor progress against plan.
- Participate with PacifiCorp Procurement in Vendor/Client negotiations
- Manage interactive between customers and the project team
- Support the integration and change between the business units and technical support staff as it relates to the SAP environment.
- Facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.
Requirements for this position include the following: - Bachelor's Degree in Business; or the equivalent combination of education.
- A minimum of three years experience in project management.
- Analytical and evaluation skills to define critical tasks, establish sequence of events, identify individuals/teams, timelines, and outcomes, and product project plans.
- Project management skills to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, determine specifications, schedules, timelines, and define deliverables.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.
- Financial modeling to quantify costs and benefits of projects and to track and maintain outcomes.
- Knowledge of project management techniques, the Company's business, applicable policies, procedures, and practices, and federal, state, and local laws.
Preferences - Working knowledge of SAP in cost tracking and forecasting.
- PMP Certification.
