Our client is looking for a results-driven Product Development PM/Brand Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for product launches, that drive brand awareness, engage audiences, and boost sales. You will work closely with the Product Development team and must have a deep understanding of the NPD process from concept through commercialization.
Responsibilities
• Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.
• Oversee all new product development (NPD) stages, from conceptualization through launch.
• Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Provide support and training to the sales and marketing team on brand positioning and product details.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive product development strategies aligned with market trends.
• Lead the planning and development of new product concepts from ideation to launch.
• Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profit margins.
• Analyze product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio.
• Create and maintain detailed project timelines for launches.
• Craft compelling product descriptions, marketing copy, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in brand management within the beauty and cosmetics industry, with 3+ years of product development experience.
• Strong understanding of the entire NPD process and ability to lead each stage to completion
• Experience working with ODM vendors is strongly preferred
• Must be self- starter and a collaborative team player
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to present professionally to cross-functional teams and related vendors
• Strong project management and time management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects
• High interest in skincare, and knowledge around current trends.
• Ability to coach and mentor Assistant Brand Managers
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
