As a Sr. Director of New Business Development, we’ll rely on you to have the exciting and important conversations with clients about the many ways we can collaborate with them to turn their business visions and customer goals into tangible outcomes.
You’ll be part of the team that plays a pivotal role in contributing to our success by acquiring new clients and establishing productive and value-driven relationships throughout their organizations.
You’ll provide strategic direction for our company and lead business development activities for G2O. And you’ll partner with our delivery teams to ensure our clients achieve their desired outcomes — and more.
Specifics about the role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for uncovering and evaluating new client opportunities, and leveraging existing relationships that fit our strategic growth and development plans. Don’t worry — we’ll get you up to speed on those and we expect you to be able to hit the ground running, but we’ll also give you the support you need to succeed.
You’ll perform thorough research to develop and lead negotiations, serve as the main source of contact, and report to the CRO.
And we want you to take a leadership role in partnering with and coaching G2O employees to ensure that they completely understand our mission and vision and help motivate people to go above and beyond in everything they do to achieve client outcomes. Our brand, messaging, and culture are important to us, and we want you to become an ambassador for those to our teammates as well as our clients.

As one of the visible leaders of G2O, we’d also like you to be a subject matter expert and contribute to thought leadership opportunities by identifying industry trends and incorporating those into client work.

Education & Experience
Do you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business? That’s fantastic. We love that. But some of our best people got their experience from the school of life. Show us what you’ve accomplished.
Ideally, you have:
· 3-5+ years of consulting industry experience. Experience uncovering and opening new customers by creating compelling messages that show an understanding organizational structure, who key decision makers are and setting out a targeted engagement strategy to schedule/coordinate introductory call/meetings with a specific message addressing their business challenges.
· A strong history of successfully selling, delivering, and growing revenue for a company
· Led and developed client relationships and ensured delivery of well-structured digital projects that exceeded client expectations.
· Known authority in the market in a particular industry function or domain and can leverage your external network to improve profitable revenues and market positioning.
· Collaborated with other executives, teammates, and lines of business to design and deliver customized and innovative solutions for clients.
· Recent experience working with small to large national accounts and a strong and demonstrable track record of successful practice-building.
· Visibility in the industry and viewed as a thought leader and trusted adviser to clients.
