Their primary responsibility will be to engineer designs, develop and maintain electrical systems for marine vessels, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. What your day will look like:
- Conduct comprehensive testing and certification to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate designs in real-world marine environments.
- Participate hands-on in building prototypes, identifying, and resolving issues during the development process.
- Design, develop, and test circuit boards for marine powertrain systems.
- Assemble circuit boards, ensuring they meet precise design specifications.
- Communicate with suppliers to address quality concerns and manage supply chain logistics.
- Maintain thorough documentation of design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference.
- Write and debug embedded and PC software, ensuring smooth integration with marine powertrain systems.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in circuit board design, assembly, and testing; strong knowledge of marine powertrain systems and their electrical components.
- Proficiency in writing and debugging software for embedded systems; knowledgeable in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Knowledge of marine industry standards and regulations.
- Experience using CAD software for circuit board design (e.g., EAGLE).
