Job Description:
The Maintenance & Services Sourcing Manager will drive strategic sourcing of the Maintenance & Services category.In this role you will be instrumental in sourcing strategy ideation and delivery encompassing data analysis, market profiling, sourcing execution, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting and relationship management, along with managing Maintenance & Services projects from a Sourcing perspective. The candidate will require blend of Maintenance & Services sourcing and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry experience. They must have deep sourcing process expertise and knowledge coupled with strong communications and ability to engage with business stakeholders throughout the sourcing process. Additionally, the ideal candidate will bring Consulting skill sets to operate most effectively in this position to help transform the Maintenance & Services sourcing program in a client environment.
Qualifications
Basic
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
Experience in Maintenance & Services Sourcing Management and supporting associated projects
Experience in sourcing strategy ideation, analysis, market profiling, sourcing wave planning, sourcing execution, market research, supplier qualification, negotiations, contracting and supplier relationship management
8-10 years of prior corporate experience, ideally within professional services and exposure to supply chain, procurement, operations or strategy, consulting experience preferred
6 - 8 years in Sourcing & Procurement
- 4 – 6 years in Maintenance & Services environment
- Minimum of 4 years in CPG environment
- 2-4 years of consulting experience
- Maintenance & Services spend management experience of an annual spend of at least $300M
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to E-procurement Tools such as SAP, Coupa, Zycus, etc.
- Organized and Proactive with day-to-day tasks and goal oriented
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel analysis and communication in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Ability to be based out of our Chicago, IL office with consideration for remote
- Ability to travel up to 50% of your time
