As an In Office, Post Closing Specialist:
You will process all documents that come through headquarters, act as one of the primary recording team members for Blueprint Title, and assist with office management duties.
What you may work on:
- Process HQ Signings, which include but are not limited to, closing packages and ad hoc documents which may be signed prior to or at closing.
- Receive and scan all incoming fedex packages & mail
- Incoming packages may include scanning in checks for Disbursement Team.
- USPS would include checks, invoices, surveys, etc. for specific files
- Process return of lender packages (e.g. review document package for accuracy, confirm shipping return label available in file, prep docs to send back out to lender once disbursed etc.)
- Print and mail checks
- Process trailing documents (i.e. printing policies and checking original documents for error prior to submitting to lender).
- Receive and review document packages for each file as delivered by the processing team for recording
- Prepare and submit all eligible manual documents for recording within the SLA of 24 hours of funding
- Resolve any manual rejections within a timely manner working with Escrow Officers and Operations Management to make corrections when necessary.
- Resolve any post-closing matters in a timely manner, and guide the ops team on best practices for post-closing
- Work to become a subject matter expert on all of our states and clients' recording requirements.
- Master recording from Qualia, in Simplifile, and other third-party tools utilized by Blueprint to record for their transactions
- Act as a backup to the Disbursement Officer
- Keep Qualia tasks and Milestones up to date
- Keep Portal up to date
- Reply within Operations SLAs to assigned Zendesk Tickets
- Assist with office management activities including: distributing mail, buying office supplies, coordinating with office vendors, etc.
What we are looking for in you:
- 2+ years of prior work experience in a fast-paced professional setting
- At least 1 year of work experience in the real estate title industry as a post-closer
- Must be able to report in office 5 day/week to our Nashville, TN location
- Must currently be a notary public in Tennessee or be able to become a notary public within 2 months of employment.
- Outstanding organizational abilities, multi-tasking skills, and relentless attention to detail
