Overview:
Our client, a dynamic and nationally recognized engineering firm, is seeking a Transportation Engineer Project Manager. In this role, you will lead the design and production of roadway and planning projects for various clients, maintain quality control, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and support business growth. This full-time direct hire position is located in Boise, ID.

Responsibilities:
- Guide the creation and execution of road designs and/or planning initiatives for the Idaho Transportation Department, local governmental bodies, and additional clients in the Pacific Northwest
- Oversee the work quality and guarantee that deadlines are met, and budgets are adhered to
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members and engage with Engineers throughout the company
- Create proposals and sustain client connections
- Aid in the expansion activities within Idaho and across the Pacific Northwest
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program required
- 7+ years related roadway and/or bridge design experience required, 10+ years preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Idaho required
- Experience in Bridge, Roadway and/or Traffic Design experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft office required
- Experience with commonly used design software and CADD Standards for Idaho Transportation Department and local clients highly preferred
- Superb communication abilities and competence in serving clients across public and private sectors highly desired
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
