Job Description:
Our client is looking for an in-office Chart Abstraction Analyst to join their HIM team and handle the process of digitizing paper documents for storage in their Patient Records. This will include scanning, and then uploading those documents into the patient's electronic record.
Responsibilities:
- Scan and input any missing documents/lab results/images to Patient Records
- Review Patient Records to ensure all necessary documents have been uploaded
- Ensure legibility integrity of scanned documents
- Perform quality control/validation on abstracted charts to ensure all information is accurate
- Ability to complete up to 200+ charts/day
Minimum Qualifications:
- Customer service skills
- Experience with quality control or validation
- Experience reading and understanding Patient Records
- Experience scanning images and uploading them
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be on your feet a majority of the day
- Nice to have: Epic Knowledge
