Environmental Solutions Architect
Job Summary: As an IT Solutions Architect at our company, focusing on Environmental, Safety, and Security (ES&S), you will be responsible for designing and implementing information technology solutions that enhance environmental compliance, safety protocols, and security measures. Your role will involve crafting technical solutions that ensure our operations are safe, secure, and environmentally responsible, aligning with both organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design: Develop comprehensive architecture for IT systems that support environmental monitoring, safety management, and security protocols.
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the integration and implementation of IT solutions that address ES&S concerns, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure.
- Technical Leadership: Lead a team of IT professionals, providing expertise and direction in the development of ES&S technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with environmental experts, safety officers, security teams, and other stakeholders to align IT solutions with operational needs.
- Technology Innovation: Research and introduce new technologies or methodologies that could improve environmental sustainability, enhance safety practices, or bolster security.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all IT solutions comply with local, national, and international environmental, safety, and security standards and regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in current systems related to ES&S and design solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for all architectural designs, compliance measures, and operational procedures related to ES&S systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Environmental Science, Safety Management, Security Studies, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Experience: At least 7-10 years of IT experience, with a proven track record in solutions architecture or systems engineering, particularly in projects involving environmental, safety, or security systems.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, IoT, and cybersecurity as they relate to ES&S.
- Experience with compliance software, safety management systems, or environmental monitoring tools.
- Strong project management abilities, with experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technology adoption for ES&S improvements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
