Collaborate with Legal business team to gather requirements.
Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
Document requirements by creating use cases, user stories, Business Requirement Document (BRD), class diagram, Entity-Relationship (ER) diagram, and sequence diagrams.
Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the best solution for data compilation and centralized storage
Gather and analyze technical and functional information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality
Assist with project management for selected projects. Update Wrike tasks and generate weekly and monthly reports for management.
Integrate user-friendly content in illustrations, graphs, and infographics for enhanced user experience.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
Create in-depth user guides, FAQs, technical overviews, and in-product help documentation.
Test both the product and its documentation for accuracy and consistency.
Test business processes and recommend improvements
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
2+ years of experience in Litify ELM
10+ years of industry experience i legal domain knowledge especially with Legal Tech platform
10+ years of experience in eBilling and Matter management
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
Experience working with engineering to improve user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
Previous software development experience
Certification through the Society for Technical Communicators
Experience using XML tools to create documentation
