Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven and motivated Sales Executive with a passion for personal and professional growth and an eagerness to work in a multicultural environment. This role is part of our USA Sales Team, reporting directly to the USA Country Manager. You will be instrumental in developing and expanding our network and offerings in the USA Market.
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the USA and Transatlantic Trade within an International Transport Company.
- Strong understanding of the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Proven track record in managing and growing customer relationships.
Key Objectives:
- Build and manage the USA and Transatlantic Trade to ensure competitiveness and growth.
- Increase and consolidate business relations between the company and its customers.
- Ensure optimal customer service from origin to destination.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and competitor products, making relevant suggestions.
- Manage the sales process to retain assigned customers.
- Contribute to business development in line with company policies, strategies, and procedures.
- Resolve customer satisfaction issues.
- Maintain and build customer loyalty.
Duties and Tasks:
- Develop action plans to increase market share among existing and new customers.
- Organize customer visits based on their sales potential.
- Analyze sales performance and conduct effective negotiations.
- Update customer database to assess potential.
- Manage service-related issues and complaints.
- Attend trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Collaborate with internal departments, foreign agents, suppliers, and customers to provide the best solutions.
Must-Have Qualities:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Sales Department of Freight Forwarding Companies.
- Prefered previous experience in Operative Freight Fowarding via Ocean / Air / Truck.
- Team player with the ability to represent the company independently.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strategic vision and authoritativeness.
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to work in stressful situations.
- Determined and business-focused on achieving challenging goals and growth.
- Proficiency in Excel and other computer tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business disciplines preferred.
- Availability for extensive and long-distance travel.
- Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
