Duration: 09 Months (with a possibility of extension)
Client: One of the largest data storage devices manufacturers
Overview:
Candidate will be responsible for support of day-to-day work activities, such as loading/unloading drives, start tests, maintain lab, and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Duties:
- Work with other teams in support of FPE Rochester operations.
- In addition, support activities to maintain the operational readiness of the Reliability Test Lab.
- This requires being able to work highly independently for activities including debug, repair, and maintenance all lab equipment: form entry, record keeping, tracking and control for equipment calibration, equipment inventory and department purchasing activities.
- Ability to work graveyard shift when debugging issues with the engineering team in India and Israel.
- Assist with new equipment layout, design, installation and bring up.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in technical field preferred.
- 3+ years of work experience.
- Experience specifically in an Engineering/Reliability test environment.
- Dexterity and strength to install 16x20 mm components into spring loaded connectors.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds from floor to height of 6 feet.
