Job Title: Fee Schedule Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Managed Care
Department: Managed Care - Contracting & Service
Job Summary:
Detail-oriented Fee Schedule Coordinator to manage and optimize our contracted payor rates. Work collaboratively with the analytics team and various departments to ensure accurate fee schedule management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Interpretation: Understand and interpret contracted rates for each payor to ensure accurate application across all practices.
- Collaboration with Analytics: Collaborate closely with the analytics team to obtain and analyze fee
- schedules for each payor, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.
- Data Management: Load and maintain each fee schedule in the designated database using standardized naming conventions for easy access and identification.
- Provider Specialties Linking: Accurately link all fee schedules to the corresponding provider specialties to facilitate proper billing and reimbursement.
- Tax Identification Tracking: Track and maintain overrides related to tax identification numbers to ensure compliance and accuracy in billing.
- Immunization and Injectable Fee Updates: Update quarterly immunization and injectable fee schedules for all health plans, ensuring current rates are reflected in our systems.
- Insurance Plan Integration: Link new insurance plans and products to all relevant fee schedules and providers to maximize reimbursement opportunities.
- Underpayment/Overpayment Management: Generate and analyze claim reports to ensure accurate reimbursement following contract negotiations or the onboarding of new providers.
- Inquiries and Support: Research and respond to fee related inquiries promptly, providing clear and accurate information in both oral and written formats.
- Special Projects: Participate in special projects related to fee schedules, contributing insights and
- analysis to enhance our fee structure.
- Documentation Management: Log and maintain all fee schedule documents in an organized manner for the office managers.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong analytical abilities.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with team members as well as working independently.
