The Executive Recruiter reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager and plays a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier executive and specialized talent to drive the organization’s strategic goals. Job Description:
- Recruit, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for executive and specialized positions, ensuring a positive applicant experience throughout the process.
- Work closely with the hiring managers to plan and execute recruitment strategies, reduce turnover, and support overall business growth.
- Source and reach out to potential candidates through various channels, including social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Place and update job postings across various platforms including internet/intranet sites, social networks, and professional organizations to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Represent Athens Services at recruiting events such as job fairs, industry conferences, and college career fairs, providing company information and conducting preliminary interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with managers and employees to gauge morale, establish rapport, and generate new candidate leads through an effective employee referral program.
- Conduct follow-ups with managers to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and provide regular status reports on active searches using the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
- Assist in performing reference and background checks, extending job offers, and providing candidates with detailed information on compensation, benefits, and company policies.
- Represent Athens in a professional manner at all times with employees, vendors, suppliers, etc., and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Provide candidates with information regarding compensation, benefits, policies, and procedures to ensure they are well-informed and to promote a positive image of Athens Services.
- Continuously improve recruitment practices by participating in educational programs, workshops, and staying informed on industry trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, including at least 3 years demonstrating proficiency in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates for executive and specialized roles, preferably within staffing or executive recruiting firms and/or within the transportation, waste management, or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and extensive knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on effective candidate engagement and relationship-building.
- Proven ability to work effectively with management and HR teams to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals. Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and travel locally as required to support business needs.

Salary: $90,000
Commission
- This position offers a competitive base salary with a tiered commission structure based on successful placements of executive and specialized roles within Athens Services.
- Flexibility to assist with other non-executive requisitions as required, based on workload and business needs, compensated at the base salary rate
