The Special Projects Manager support several housing initiatives. The Project Manager will attend all meetings related to housing commissions and housing boards. The PM will act as the liaison to other departments and stakeholders. The housing project manager will be responsible for developing and implementing programs, services and contracts related to housing and post-employment benefits.
- Build and perform apporopriate needs assessments
- Gathering data, research and feedback on the needs of the target population related to the federal poverty level.
- Building systems for special projects including improving efficiency and identifying barriers.
- Develop a detailed workplan on how to address housing for the targeted populations.
- Analysis benefit cliffs and propose opportunities to address issues
- Responsible for all communication regarding projects including written summaries, work plans, reports, conducting meetings and public presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences or related
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in social development and support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in addressing housing and public benefits knowledge.
- Public speaking experience and the development of presentations.
