Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for a Plant Controller. This company is looking for someone with strong analytical skills, manufacturing experience, and strong collaboration skills. The salary range for this job is $100k-140k + bonus.
The Plant Controller will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor and control plant expenses, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Coordinate with plant management to optimize production efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and maintaining a productive team environment.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in capital investment planning and analysis, evaluating the financial viability of proposed projects.
- Support supply chain and procurement functions with financial analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Lead financial process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting and valuation, including periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
The Plant Controller will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
