John Asdell with Robert Half is partnered with a national technology company that works closely with the federal government and DoD. The company is preparing for an IPO later next year and continues to expand across the country. The VP of Finance is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the business development team in building pricing models in response to RFPs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the the continued expansion of the company's business by providing comprehensive financial analysis, developing pricing strategies, and ensuring accurate and timely proposal submissions. This role involves frequent collaboration with various departments, including Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP&A.

Responsibilities:
• Craft thorough cost/price recommendations aligned with RFP inquiries, ensuring they conform to corporate policies and guidelines.
• Carry out exhaustive margin assessments relative to business goals to pinpoint financial advancement opportunities and potential risks.
• Become adept at our product and project costing tactics to assure accurate cost estimates for pricing and punctual proposal deliverance.
• Sustain clear communication with immediate management regarding cost/pricing analysis, keeping senior staff advised of emerging risks and chances within the pricing procedure.
• Nurture cooperative associations across multiple divisions, including Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Production and Supply Chain, Accounting, and FP&A.
• Handle unexpected needs related to program-oriented issues when required.
• Provide support in initiating projects, billing, and devising project forecasts
• Play an active role in the yearly operating blueprint, analysis of indirect rates, and adherence to government contract requirements.
• Perform financial tasks including accounting, auditing, budget management, and capital control tasks to promote the organization's financial well-being.
Requirement of the Position:
- Must hold a title of Sr. Financial Analyst or equivalent
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field
- Understanding of pricing models for DoD contracts/RFP highly valued
- Understanding of FAR/DFARs will be important
