Vice President of Influencer Marketing and PR
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic VP of Influencer Marketing and PR to spearhead our brand’s influencer and public relations strategies. This role involves driving brand awareness and deepening brand loyalty through creative and scalable influencer marketing programs and strategic brand initiatives. As a leader in our rapidly growing company, you’ll manage impactful campaigns and build strong partnerships. The VP will also focus on securing the necessary resources and improving internal processes to strengthen these efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement influencer marketing and PR strategies that align with company objectives, working closely with leadership and key leads to ensure seamless integration with overall business goals
- Innovate and expand influencer, pr, and branded programs across new platforms and emerging talent
- Manage a multi-channel budget, reporting, and optimizing spend
- Influencer Marketing & PR:
- Cultivate partnerships with external collaborators to amplify our brand message and strike innovative partnerships
- Lead the strategic vision for influencer partnerships, ambassador programs, and long-term collaborations to align with the brand’s values and goals
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, press opportunities, and brand activations to enhance visibility and strengthen brand positioning
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced startup environment
- Partner with cross-departmental teams to ensure cohesive tactics, strategic thinking, and messaging across all brand channels
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 10+ years of brand marketing experience, with a focus on influencer marketing within the DTC space
- 8+ years of management experience, with strong leadership in briefings and creative management
- Extensive knowledge of PR and media relations
- Agency experience preferred but not required
- Skills:
- High standards with a detail-oriented, problem-solving approach
- Proficiency with data and analytics tools to drive campaign optimization
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders
