Job Description:
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer
- Develop and execute trial plans.
- Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
- Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide “hands on” support to manufacturing and process engineers.
- Analyse test data of newly created products and raw materials.
- Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
- Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
- Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
- Research new composites materials and novel processes.
- Create work instructions and SOP’s for Quality System.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines
Skills/Knowledge:
- Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience
- Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries
- Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.
- Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
- Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other Additive Manufacturing processes.
- Working knowledge of advance fiber placement systems is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.
